Greetings from UPOU and welcome to the ISEAC Hackathon Learning Platform powered by Moodle!
We’re thrilled to have you on board and can't wait to see the results of your hackathon. We hope the resources here provide a sufficient overview of concepts that will greatly aid you in this hackathon. This should also serve as a platform for you to reach out to your mentors for guidance.
Here are a few pointers to help you navigate the Moodle platform:
- Home Page: Upon logging in, you'll land on the Moodle home page where you'll find announcements as well as all the available courses (e.g. Pitching 101).
- Course Modules: Each course contains information and references regarding the subject matter. Simply click on the module title on the homepage to access the content. You’ll be redirected to a page where you can find the Self-Enrolment Section. Click the “Enrol Me” button to view the contents of the course.
- Discussion Forums: Engage with your peers and mentors through the discussion forums. This is a great place to ask questions and share insights, whether it's about the courses, specific tips, or other topics and concepts you want to discuss.
- Assignments: You are tasked to submit progress reports per week leading up to February 26. Here is a template that you can use: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KFk3NaH9h9yGmoLU-G-AgX_FR2ds5uiBi-4S0v23ulw/edit?usp=sharing. Please "Make a Copy" of said template. We only ask that you ensure they provide reasonable insight into the progress of your work! This will help us track your learning and provide the necessary support.
We will be providing announcements via this platform and through email if there are any, so check those out regularly!
If you need any assistance or have any questions, you can reach out to our mentors through their individual forums. Each mentor has a dedicated forum where you can post your queries and get timely responses.
